According to the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) Tourism Barometer international tourism experienced an upward trend during the first half of 2016 compared to the same period in 2015. Worldwide destinations received 561 millions tourists, 21 million more than in 2015 with the Asia Pacific region recording the highest growth of 9% compared to the other world regions - www.unwto.org
