London Gatwick Airport LGW has recently opened a leading edge security area as part of the upgrade of the North Terminal, this follows a similar upgrade of the South Terminal. It is calculated that this will halve the time that passengers take to pass through security with no reduction in safety screening measures. The young lady is looking forward to a stay in the Bloc Hotel conveniently located within the South Terminal.
